How you will make an impact:

We are looking for a Software Product Applications Specialist in our PFA team, who can take over the responsibility of software product that increases value for our customers via automated semiconductor process equipment that delivers wafer-to-atomic information, enabling them to identify errors in the production of semiconductor components and advance their research and production, to make them more robust, reliable, energy efficient. Product owner will be working as a member of a software development team within the R&D organization.
 

What you will do:

  • Translate the customer value propositions and requirements into meaningful, industry-leading software (sub)products, that delight our customers.
  • Define the product roadmap and own backlog for software team and deployment of new innovations and drive successful new product introductions.
  • Collect feedback on a regular basis and use this information to improve the products.
  • Make the product backlog visible and open. Clearly express product backlog items, ensuring the product team understands the items to the level needed.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by optimizing product performance, improving reliability and stability, continuously balancing the introduction of new features.
  • Support product development budgeting, process improvement and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with international and multidisciplinary teams of developers and engineers to ensure effective research and development of product features.
  • Actively participate and support agile development core team.
     

How you will get here

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years in product owner or project management role
  • Experience with Agile project management and Scrum is an advantage. Experience with SAFe is nice to have.
  • Knowledge issue tracking system such as Jira or Jama.
  • Ability to lead teams in a multisite and multidisciplinary environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and international
