We are currently seeking to hire a talented Pre-Sales Software Planner who will support Sales and Project Management teams with the APJ CPO SW Planning Team.
  • You will complete routine planning requests independently, with minimal oversight, following software planning processes and utilizing necessary tools and planning templates.

  • You will host and lead infrastructure-related discussions expanding to all clinical & IT levels, including the CIO & hospital executives.

  • You will perform Quote QA independently with detailed analysis of customer expectations and follow-up with the Sales team.

  • You will develop trust with clients in pre-project capacity, demonstrated through consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes and setting proper expectations.

  • You will ensure appropriate response, escalation and cost-effective solutions are used to meet the requirements of regulatory, quality, safety and contractual obligations.

  • You may work with Luminary, Strategic, Complex, or other high-visibility customers and projects.

  • You will perform tasks assigned by Direct Manager as needed.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge

  • You have bachelor's degree education and/or 3-5 years with Software solutions in Multi-vendor Healthcare IT Environments.

  • You have knowledge of network design, security systems, software controls systems, and server management.

  • You have experience developing System Topology diagrams with Visio to visually present a customer’s technical environment.

  • You have experience planning, managing, and troubleshooting deployment of software and IT infrastructure are desirable particularly in a healthcare environment.

  • You have experience with implementing cloud solutions and virtualized server platforms is desirable.

  • You have experience in oncology service lines is most desirable, particularly Varian products.

  • Your PMP certification & experience in telecommunications is desired.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service acumen.

  • You are able to host and manage conference calls remotely professionally and effectively.

  • You are proficient in utilizing business tools:  Outlook, Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, SharePoint & PowerPoint. 

Other Requirements

  • You accept flexibility around working hours; depending on Customer Hospitals’ schedules, work may be scheduled for weekend and/or outside of regular business hours.

  • You are capable of acting as a loyal representative of Varian, showing confidence in the company and the company’s products.

  • You are able to liaise with all Varian teams to foster an environment of co-operation and resolution.

  • You accept work-related Travel (as required) within & outside of APJ.

  • You are able to attend training over several weeks outside of APJ (as required).
