Dusty Robotics is seeking a Software Intern to join our team this summer. As part of our innovative company, you’ll be working on improving the features and performance of our cutting-edge robotics systems, including the Dusty Fieldprinter 2 and Dusty Portal.
As a Software Intern, you’ll help enhance the capabilities of our products by gathering, analyzing, and displaying new types of data. You’ll have the chance to work on complex software challenges and collaborate with a talented team to improve our systems' efficiency and functionality.
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to the development and improvement of key features for the Dusty Fieldprinter 2 and Dusty Portal.
- Design, implement, and optimize software solutions that gather, analyze, and display new types of data.
- Work with the team to integrate your code into the robotics platform, improving system performance and usability.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to identify opportunities for software improvements.
- Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, real-world robotics environment where your work directly impacts the performance of innovative technologies.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in C++, Python, Go, and/or React
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and SQL databases
- Coursework or experience in software development, particularly in systems design and optimization
- Problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team
