Key Accountabilities:
As a Software Integration Intern, you will join our Technical Engineering Department and work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams to support software integration activities in a dynamic automotive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the implementation, configuration and validation of product programming and flashing processes;
- Assisting in the setup and maintenance of programming stations, software versions and communication interfaces;
- Supporting troubleshooting activities related to product software and programming processes;
- Collecting and analysing production logs to investigate software-related issues;
- Contributing to root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions;
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on programming efficiency, process stability and standardisation;
- Assisting in the analysis of recurring failures, cycle times and automation opportunities;
- Creating and updating technical documentation, work instructions and validation records;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable technical solutions;
- Presenting project results, conclusions and recommendations at the end of the internship.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Engineering or a related field;
- Comfortable working with programming languages such as Python and/or C#;
- Interested in industrial software applications, manufacturing technologies and process improvement;
- Familiar with communication protocols such as CAN and FlexRay;
- Analytical, detail-oriented and passionate about problem-solving;
- Able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with different stakeholders;
- Organised, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of LabVIEW, TestStand or Vector tools (CANalyzer, CANoe);
- Familiarity with structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, PDCA or 8D.
