We are seeking a highly motivated on-site Software Integration Engineer to join the Integration Team on site at CTC which develops software for gasoline engine programs. The engineer will play a key role in the integration, test, and release of embedded software. The engineer will work closely with software development, hardware teams, and quality departments to ensure robust and compliant software integration.
Preferred QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software testing is required. Preferably in the automotive domain.
- Good experience in Configuration Management tools such as Serena, AccuRev and Git.
- Good knowledge of tools such as dSPACE tools, INCA, Lauterbach Trace32, Vector CANoe and CANalyzer.
- Good experience in ETAS INCA Tool, Control desk or related tool.
- Ability to read and write software in C, C++, Python, AND CAPL
- Experience in agile methodologies.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, depending on the needs of the business.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of automotive experience.
- Flexibility -- must be able to adapt to changing environment with minimal effect on productivity.
- Software integration testing on HIL systems, CAN, LIN, or related vehicle communication protocols.
- Familiarity with ASPICE process areas and their application in testing.
- Solid understanding of ISO 26262 and experience with functional safety testing.
