Key Responsibilities:
- Package and integrate software components from platform assets to support Varian solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product managers to deliver integrated platform components.
- Develop and maintain integration pipelines, integration tests, tools, and documentation to streamline the build and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring high quality and reliability of software packages.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input regarding integration feasibility and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements relevant to medical software.
- Continuously improve integration workflows and automation to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
Must Have:-
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with minimum 7 years of experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language - C# .Net, Python
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g - Bash, PowerShell) for automation, transformations and tooling
- Experience with software integration, packaging, and deployment, preferably in healthcare or medical device software.
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS/OpenShift or similar)
- CI/CD tooling for automated build and deployment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Good to Have: -
- Experience in healthcare IT, medical imaging, or oncology information systems in roles such as integration engineer, interface specialist, or interoperability consultant
- Strong, hands-on experience with DICOM and HL7 v2.x messaging (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, MDM, etc.) and familiarity with IHE profiles for imaging and oncology workflows
- Familiarity with the diagnostic imaging and healthcare domain is highly desirable.
