Key Responsibilities:
GenAI Integration: Assist in integrating GenAI technologies into the GridOS platform to automate and optimize engineering processes.
Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Python, Java, or C++ using copilot. Basic understanding of distributed microservices architecture is required. Experience in UI frameworks, specifically angular is required.
GenAI best practices: Reestablish engineering best practices into copilot constitution and instructions files. Create specifications using modern GenAI tooling for all development.
Testing and Validation: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and validation of GenAI-driven features within the GridOS platform.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and GenAI models.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in GenAI and software engineering practices.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java preferred).
GenAI Knowledge: Basic understanding of Generative AI concepts and applications.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience: Previous internship or project experience in software engineering or AI.
Technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Distributed Microservices architecture are must have, and experience in SCADA, Kafka, Kubernetes are desired.
Cloud Services: Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $108,560.00 and $162,840.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
