Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Work and develop function and features using Force.com on Sales or Service Cloud Platform of Salesforce. Be an active member to the Engineering Scrum team. Design, architect, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable products. Analyze our customers’ needs and build features to meet those needs while keeping the platform stable and scalable. Contribute to the software development process, from ideation to implementation to release, including prototyping, running A/B tests, source control management, or pushing code into production. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit or functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Collaborate with users, other technical teams, project management, or sales to gather and understand requirements and present software product features and technical designs. Document and report technical features of Salesforce’s software to improve maintenance and upgrades. Build technical product demonstrations, provide hands-on technical demonstrations of Salesforce products and address technical questions by proposing Salesforce solutions. Monitor project deliverables and services, identify and resolve technical and functional issues. Adopt and promote software engineering best practices, keep abreast of evolving technologies, and mentor junior team members in technologies, tools, and processes. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java (two years); (2) JavaScript (two years); (3) Lightning Data Service (LDS); (4) REST API (two years); (5) Jenkins; (6) CSS (two years); (7) JQuery; (8) Apex Trigger; (9) Service Cloud; and (10) Force.com Tools. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. 

Salary: $155,605.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.

For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.For Hawaii-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.

For Minnesota based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.

For New Jersey based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.

For Vermont based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.
