Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in New York, NY:

Job Duties: Drive technical innovation by researching and adopting cutting-edge technologies to enhance product features and performance. Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards, promoting code quality and collaboration within the team. Lead technical discussions and participate in system design and architecture reviews, contributing to the evolution of the overall product roadmap. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team. Collaborate with product management, UX designers and CX to prioritize and plan software development efforts, ensuring timely and successful project delivery. Engage in customer issues and lead development efforts to address customer cases and enhance customer satisfaction. Define and review robust test plans to ensure high-quality and reliable software releases. Monitor production instances, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of the software systems. Leverage Java, LWC, and Aura to develop complete end-to-end features. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Object-oriented programming using Java; (2) JavaScript; (3) NodeJS; (4) React; (5) POSTMAN; (6) Aura and LWC; (7) HTML and CSS; (8) JEST; (9) JUnit; (10) Selenium; (11) Test-Driven Development; (12) Splunk; (13) SPRING Framework; (14) Git; and (15) Perforce. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Salary: $151,800.00 - $227,700.00 per annum.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $151,800 to $227,700.


Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
