Salesforce Inc. has multiple job openings for Software Engineering, PMTS / Principal Software Engineer in Seattle, WA: 
 

Job Duties: Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Own quality and drive automated testing and continuous deployments. Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Provide mentorship and best practices to service teams adopting cloud native workloads. Participate in the architecture and solution design. Generate technical specifications and documentation. Collaborate with product management to create user-centric solutions. Participate in and support agile software development process. * Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from Salesforce offices in Seattle, WA.
 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and five (5) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field.

 A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Golang or Python; (2) Public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure); (3) Kubernetes; (4) Docker; (5) CI/CD pipelines; (6) Open source software; (7) Relational databases and non-relational databases; (8) Software development best practices; and (9) Demonstrated leadership skills. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from Salesforce offices in Seattle, WA.
 

Salary: $192,200.00 - $306,600.00 per annum.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $192,200 to $306,600.
