Job Duties: Design and develop high-quality enterprise software for Sales Cloud. This project involves enhancing the setup experience for Sales Cloud customers in every step of feature discovery, feature activation and feature configuration. This requires the ability to propose simple and elegant solutions to highly complex business and technical problems. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Work in hybrid engineering model and eager to contribute to all phases of SDLC (software development lifecycle) including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, metrics and testing of all the stories. Generate technical specifications/documentation. Ability to quickly understand existing code base and grow into a subject matter expert by contributing to documentation, design, code and participation in cross team discussions during the initial phases of the project. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of industry experience in software design and development with building services in a distributed systems environment.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Database software design; (2) Strong Web development experience using React, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and concepts of Web-services, and Cloud computing; (3) SQL, NoSQL, and MongoDB; (4) Object Oriented and System design patterns in Java; (5) Agile methodology and Test-driven development; (6) Machine Learning algorithms; (7) Experience with distributed systems; (8) Data structures and algorithms; (9) Application of efficient algorithms for computational problems; (10) Scalable data management and analysis of large amounts of data, MapReduce, Spark, and Kafka; (11) Build enterprise application software with all stages of software development lifecycle; (12) Software full-stack development included customer-centric design, responsive user interface, maintainable code, testing, code reviews and documentation; (13) Git; and (14) Experience working in Artificial Intelligence projects. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
