As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team dedicated to redefining how the world consumes storage infrastructure through an AI-driven, multi-cloud fabric. You will act as a technical catalyst, driving the delivery of unified data services while providing deep mentorship to foster a culture of engineering excellence. By collaborating closely with Product and Architecture leads, you will bridge the gap between long-term business strategy and high-impact technical execution to scale our global platform.
WHAT YOU'LL DOBuild and Scale High-Performing Teams: Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering talent, from strategic hiring and onboarding to cultivating an environment of psychological safety and rapid innovation.
Direct Technical Strategy: Oversee the architectural health of core data services—including cloud mobility and high-availability systems—ensuring all engineering decisions support massive scale and multi-cloud resilience.
Drive Predictable Delivery: Manage high-impact roadmaps by optimizing agile workflows and proactively addressing technical debt to ensure the consistent release of enterprise-grade features that meet business KPIs.
Bridge Strategy and Execution: Serve as the primary conduit between Product Management and Engineering, translating complex customer requirements into actionable technical priorities and long-term milestones.
Champion Professional Growth: Elevate the organization’s collective capability by mentoring senior and staff-level engineers, guiding career development, and setting the standard for modern software development best practices.
Distributed Systems Expertise: Deep technical proficiency in architecting and shipping large-scale enterprise software, with specific experience in high-availability systems, cloud-native technologies, or storage protocols.
Adaptive People Leadership: Proven experience managing and growing software engineering teams, with a track record of navigating organizational complexity and fostering a high-performance culture.
Operational Command: Mastery of delivery management and lean engineering processes, demonstrating the ability to balance rapid feature velocity with system stability, security, and quality.
Influential Communication: The ability to articulate complex technical trade-offs and project health to executive leadership while remaining deeply connected to the engineering team’s daily technical challenges.
Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
