As a Software Engineering Manager, you'll shape and scale a high-throughput microservices ecosystem that powers backend transaction processing and frontend content delivery. Partnering closely with senior engineers and product stakeholders, you'll architect reliable, performant systems while mentoring a team committed to growth and ownership. Your leadership will ensure seamless integration across platforms and elevate the quality of our full-stack solutions.
What You'll Do
- Partner closely with stakeholders to scope and deliver scalable backend services in .NET and modern frontend applications in React and TypeScript.
- Ensure alignment with backend systems, database design, and cross-platform integration to deliver reliable, cohesive solutions.
- Drive technical design and architecture decisions that meet performance, scalability, and reliability goals.
- Mentor and coach engineers of varying experience levels with structured feedback, goal setting, and career development.
- Foster engineering best practices, system observability, and quality-focused delivery.
- Lead a high-performing full-stack engineering team and support hiring efforts, and cultivate a diverse and inclusive team culture.
What You'll Bring
- At least 2 years of experience managing engineering teams, promoting high performance, and supporting individual growth.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development, including system-level design and API architecture. (C#/.NET)
- Solid experience with frontend technologies like React.js and TypeScript.
- Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and clear communication abilities.
- Proficiency in integrating AI-powered tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, Claude) into development pipelines to accelerate coding, enhance code quality, and increase developer efficiency.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted testing, code reviews, and documentation generation.
- Proven ability in leveraging AI tools in daily engineering workflows e.g. including pair programming with AI, auto-generating test cases, or accelerating bug triage and resolution.
