What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers through regular coaching, career development planning, and performance feedback
- Foster a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative team culture that encourages innovation and accountability.
- Conduct 1:1 check ins weekly (document, help develop goals, problem solve any road blocks)
- Acclimate new hires into the team
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate across engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and customer-facing teams to build and maintain reliable software.
- Translate business and customer requirements into well-architected technical solutions.
Technical Leadership:
- Conduct code reviews, documentation
- Ensure projects are going according to schedule
- Raise any red flags if there any internal issues
- Meet with engineering leadership to understand the project roadmap
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1–2 years in a management or tech lead role.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software in a leadership capacity.
- Strong technical background in GoLang or Python.
- Experience managing software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical involvement with strategic leadership.
The base pay for this position is $150,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This position is located in our Palo Alto, CA HQ.
