What Will You Do

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Software Engineering Manager to lead equally passionate engineering teams building our next generation solutions and maintain our current generation of leading solutions.

You will be joining a friendly and engaged global team that values diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a software engineering team in Romania, working on key Trimble MEP products according to Agile principles;

• Collaborate closely with Product Management to define roadmaps and organize teams to meet strategic business objectives successfully;

• Work with the management team to develop and communicate organizational objectives that support the company's strategy and mission;

• Partner with fellow engineering leaders to define and drive division-wide engineering initiatives;

• Line manage engineers; coach and mentor them to learn, progress, and adapt to a constantly changing environment. Support team members to grow and realize their potential;

• Work with architects and engineering teams to design software solutions that align with the overall Trimble MEP platform strategy, blending Desktop and Cloud solutions where appropriate and advancing our technology migration;

• Ensure that software is developed according to the company's delivery framework and standards, including Quality and CyberSecurity.

• Microsoft .Net (C#);

• Angular (Typescript);

• .Net Core Web API;

• Confluent Kafka;

• MongoDB;

• Cloud (Azure and AWS);

• CI/CD: Atlassian Bamboo, Spinnaker;

• Git (Atlassian Bitbucket);

• Atlassian Jira.

Critical Experience and Attributes:

• Excellent English language skills;

• Extensive experience in Software Engineering across varied technologies and systems, both desktop and cloud;

• Strong knowledge of a significant number of the key technologies mentioned above;

• Proven track record of building and leading highly skilled teams with a focus on quality and delivery;

• Experience in Agile and DevOps principles;

• Understanding of shift-left quality principles and testing strategies, with experience in Test Automation;

• Highly organized and capable of managing concurrent, ongoing projects with a focus;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

• Experience in leading successfully through change;

• Passion for technology, Software Engineering, and staying on the cutting edge;

• Curious, humble, and open mindset.
