The Software Engineering Manager will be an integral part of our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) rapid response and remediation (HOT) team, solving challenging engineering problems quickly and efficiently. This person will play a key part in leading and managing a team of software engineers who play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the systems and applications that power our organization and empower our customers.  

This person in this role should be located in PST or MST time zones. This person may need to be available non-core business hours when there are 10 pm PST HOT releases.

Responsibilities:

  • Decision Making and Leadership: Make informed decisions, lead through changes, and demonstrate ethical leadership. 

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent is preferred 
  • 3+ years’ of proven experience managing technical teams and delivering on goals 
  • Track record of delivering projects and collaborating with leaders across the organization 
  • Experience with SOA, Web Services and large distributed systems 
  • Experience developing with .NET and C# and front-end technologies such as Angular 11+ 
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps is a nice to have) 
  • Experience with GitHub 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically SCRUM

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $200,000. 

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
