Primary Responsibilities:
- Bring innovative ideas to help continuously improve the application portfolio including the design, build, deploy, test and runtime within cloud ecosystems
- Involve in troubleshooting and debugging critical problems and resolving complex technical issues that may arise
- Design Discussions
- Documentation review
- Architecture/Code reviews
- Understanding business requirements and translating them into high level implementation plans & flows for development and capability teams
- Create solution roadmaps and proposals aligning to business objectives and goals
- Provide recommendations and technical guidance to improve performance, reliability, and reusability within the constraints of budget, resource and business dependencies
- In base and mid-level roles, engages across teams in a capacity that ranges from assisting on in-flight initiatives, up to technical briefings and demonstrations of new technologies across the organization
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 7+years of experience working on multiple layer of technology
- Common Technical Skills:
- Database: 8+ working experience of database (SQL or PL/SQL),
- API / Web Services: Working experience in Web Services / API, REST Architecture etc.
- Hands-on working experience on different platforms like ServiceNow, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery & CSS
- Relevant experience in administrating, Development and supporting ServiceNow platforms
- Development experience in ServiceNow, .Net, Full Stack abilities ( DevOps, Cloud) & with proven experience both technical capabilities
- Experience on ServiceNow, C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS , Web APIs,
- Experience in Agile environment and Test-Driven Development
- API / Web Services: Working experience in Web Services / API, REST Architecture etc.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS
- ServiceNow UI developer who works with stakeholders to design UI as per business & Optum defined standards by working closely with co developers, product owners, QA team
- DevOps:
- Experience with designing, developing, implementing, monitoring and troubleshooting applications in the Azure Public Cloud
- Working experience in CI/CD pipeline (test, build, deployment and monitoring automation)
- Cloud: Working experience or good knowledge of cloud platform (e.g. OpenShift, Azure, AWS) preferably Azure
- Knowledge of software configuration management and packaging
- Knowledge of build tools such as Jenkins or equivalent
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and good understanding of ITSM modules (Asset/Configuration/Incident/Problem Management, Product Catalog etc.)
- Open Source: knowledge of OpenSource adoption and use cases
- Product / Project / Program Related Tech Stack:
- Testing - Nunit, JUnit
- DevOps - Azure, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Redis, SonarQube
- Others - JMeter, Groovy, NewRelic
- Development Methodology / Engineering Practices - Agile (SCRUM / KANBAN / SAFe)
- Solution architecture exposure and past experiences how existing systems benefited
- Solid knowledge on client / server-side scripting, Service Portal UI, Reporting, ACLs, Mid server setup, APIs integration and connection with other databases.
- Accessibility adherence of the products designed/developed through ServiceNow
- Proven excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Skills Required

- Experience or strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as OpenShift, Azure, or AWS; Azure preferred
