Software Engineering Lead Analyst - DevOps
Position Overview
As a Software Engineering Lead Analyst - DevOps, you will be part of a team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration platforms. You will drive automation, reliability, and operational excellence across Evernorth’s technology ecosystem, ensuring seamless delivery of healthcare solutions at scale.
Responsibilities
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps for automated build, test, and deployment.
Manage container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS).
Automate build, release, and deployment processes to improve delivery velocity.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Splunk, Datadog, CloudWatch, and Grafana.
Enforce security best practices in DevOps workflows (secrets management, IAM, vulnerability scanning).
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
Manage source control strategies and branching models using Git.
Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization for cloud resources.
Troubleshoot production infrastructure issues and lead incident response.
Mentor junior engineers and drive adoption of DevOps culture and practices.
Qualifications:
7 - 9 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
College degree (Bachelor) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Expert knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Proficiency with cloud platforms, primarily AWS (EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS).
Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana).
Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration and networking concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect certification.
Experience with GitOps workflows and tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
Exposure to healthcare domain applications.
Industry / Domain Experience Needed:
Demonstrated experience in enterprise-scale DevOps and cloud infrastructure management.
Ability to navigate a geographically diverse team and communicate effectively.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements and security standards.
Passion for automation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Location & Hours of Work
Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required.
