Our people make all the difference in our success. We are looking for engineer to develop, optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy. In this role you will support the full software lifecycle of design, development, testing, and support for technical delivery. This role requires working with both onsite and offshore team members in properly defining scenarios based on requirements/acceptance criteria. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform software development and maintenance of entity-based micro services architecture using Java/J2EE including Java 1.8+ features like Lambdas, Streams, and Filters and with different frameworks like SpringBoot, Pivotal Cloud, Jenkins, Kafka Streams, and REST.

  • Implementing test suites to test the developed functionalities based on test scenarios proposed by Product Owner using Test Automation Frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, etc. to ensure code quality and performance.

  • Working in an AGILE environment with bi-weekly sprints and provided work updates in daily SCRUM calls, maintaining industry level best practices for software development using wide varieties of latest technologies and frameworks.

  • Participating in software/hardware configuration, releases, and installation tasks.

  • Demonstrating the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

  • Working on developing REST APIs (Micro Services) to expose REST end points which will be consumed by the end users as per the internal business requirements.

  • Maintain proper logging to monitor the request/response time and TPS of the application, closely monitor the daily transactions history using industry standard monitoring tools.

  • Deploy the code into AWS and OpenShift platforms through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodology (Jenkins) after each successful implementation of new feature.

  • Coordinate with other teams as the applications are micro services, rectify the issues while consuming the dependent APIs, and fix the issues if necessary.

  • Participate in code reviews after each successful push in the repo, suggest if any changes required to maintain the cleaner and concise code. 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Take ownership and accountability of the application/tasks.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. 

  • Strong influencing/negotiation skills.Have a passion to learn and a desire to simplify. 

  • Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills. 

  • Strong time and project management skills. 

  • Proficiency with most of the following technologies- Java/J2EE, SpringBoot, Python, RFamiliarity with agile methodology including SCRUM team leadership.  

  • Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior/test driven development, and specification by example.  

  • Required Experience & Education: 

  • 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, and SpringBoot

  • Experience in designing and building REST web services using Java at internet scaleStrong in Java (v8 plus)Strong in SpringBoot and MVC framework

  • Proficient in OpenShift/Cloud deployments

  • Experience with tuning high-volume applications

  • Experience with caching products

  • Experience with working in Agile environment

  • Proficient in Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline

  • Strong in JUnit, Mockito frameworks

  • College degree (Bachelor+) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.   

Desired Experience:  

Exposure to OpenShift, PCF and AWS Healthcare experience including PBM business model.

Location & Hours of Work:

Hyderabad and Hybrid (11:30 AM IST to 8:30 PM IST)
