We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join the Data and Analytics Engineering (D&AE) Communication Platform team. The Advisor will be responsible for ensuring the development of reports and data feeds using SAS based platform and migration of reports to a cloud-based platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in creating & managing complex data queries and pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, Apache Kafka, Oracle (SQL), MongoDB, Openshift.
- Develop and manage services supporting the platform.
- Perform triage and root cause analysis of system issues.
- Perform performance testing and analysis.
- Work with business partners and product owner to resolve defects identified in a timely manner.
- Understand the requirements and use cases provided.
- Enable the self-healing capabilities to reduce the human interference, user impact and to increase the availability.
- Partner with other teams and stake holders for any clarifications needed for the timely deliverables.
- Ability to provide alternative solutions.
- Experienced with agile methodology.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Healthcare domain experience.
- Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, Apache Kafka, Oracle (SQL), MongoDB, Openshift
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools like GitHub, Jenkins etc.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Required Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
- 6+ years of experience in developer role.
- 6+ years of relational database management systems like Oracle, SQL server and Teradata
Desired Experience:
- AWS, Azure, or GCP certification desirable
- Experience with automated multi-channel customer communications
