FC-223 is responsible of developing SW applications in wafer alignment domain at ASML. We create tools that help our customers to optimize, monitor and diagnose wafer alignment process within Twinscan.
Your assignmentWe are looking for an intern to support our software teams by developing scripts that enhance their daily work. This includes automating tasks performed by software developers using Large Language Models (LLM)- based applications. The focus will be on premise and offline solutions that can:
Extract structured data (dependencies, interactions, etc.) and generate documentation from code.
Automate refactoring tasks.
Generate and review test cases.
Assist in code and test reviews.
To be a great match for this internship you:
Are a final-year bachelor or a master student in Software Engineering, computer science, data science or related field or a similar field.
Have experience in Python and JavaScript and you have interest and basic knowledge about LLMs and open source frameworks around AI such as LLamaindex or Langchain.
Preferably have knowledge in Java, maven and React.js (or similar web framework).
Are able to work independently and autonomously and are pro-active.
Have strong communication skills and are fluent in English (verbal and written).
This is a final-year bachelor or master graduation/apprentice internship for 6 to 12 months, for 2 to 5 days per week (at least 3 days onsite for full-time). The start date of this internship is September 2025.
Other requirements you need to meet
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
