As an Intern, Software Engineer, you'll work alongside our engineering team to build the software systems that power our operations, from booking and reservations to in-flight experiences and operations management. You'll contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact thousands of guests flying Breeze every day.

Build and Ship Features:
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to develop software solutions that enhance the Breeze customer and operational experience
- Write clean, maintainable code for front-end and back-end systems using our tech stack (Ruby on Rails, Angular, Go, PostgreSQL)
- Contribute to feature development across our web applications, mobile apps, and internal tools
- Grow your technical skillset and receive mentorship from your team members.
Ensure Quality:
- Write thorough unit tests and participate in code reviews
- Debug and resolve issues in development and production environments
Learn and Grow:
- Work under the guidance of other engineers to understand complex systems and best practices
- Continuously expand your technical skills as our platform and technology evolves
Drive Impact:
- Contribute ideas to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency
- Participate in technical discussions and planning sessions
- Help maintain documentation and share knowledge with the team
- 0-2 years of professional software development experience
- Developing foundation in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Understanding of Git version control and collaborative development workflows
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active enrollment in a 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong desire for success
- High performance orientation with ability to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Ability to complete projects with guidance and meet deadlines
