The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our energetic, results-oriented Engineering team, making a highly visible contribution to the developer productivity/experience. They will work closely with local Engineers in Sunnyvale as part of an Agile team driving rapid growth through high-quality, on-time feature releases that meet and exceed the expectations of our customers.

Your day-to-day:

Assume the role of a Software Engineer Intern on a platform team focused on delivering the best developer experience

Play an important role in the delivery of ambitious new features and products from Engineering through to Production
- Contribute to the build out of our CI/CD software delivery process and/or integrate portals like backstage.io to support the end-to-end delivery of world class software
What you bring to the team:

Exposure to or desire to learn, a wide range of technologies, including:
-
Kubernetes, Splunk, Cloudbees, Harness, OPA, Terraform, Prometheus, etc.

A desire to play a major role in the delivery of complex, high value projects

Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills:
-
Exposure to Linux
-
An understanding of agile software delivery
-
A keen interest in the cybersecurity domain
-
Knowledge of Golang and/or Typescript/Javascript.

Knowledge of Docker/k8s, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
Candidate Profile:
You have the ability and interest in working full-time (a maximum of 38 hours/week) this summer and part-time (a maximum of 20 hours/week) for 9 months after in correspondence with the company’s hybrid policy. You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA. This summer internship is scheduled to start this summer and end in 2026.
