About Vantage:
Vantage is a cloud cost visibility and optimization platform, alternatively known as a FinOps platform. We help companies of all sizes manage their cloud infrastructure costs: everything from individual developers all the way up to multiple Fortune 500 customers. Our co-founders are industry veterans who have been former infrastructure engineers and product managers at DigitalOcean and AWS. The company is an efficient and hard working team of ~50 employees across the US with a New York City center of gravity. As we transition to the growth phase of the business, it’s likely our team size will at least double by the end of 2025.

About The Role:
You will work with a team of software engineers who are responsible for shipping features across the Vantage product. The team is fast-paced and is constantly shipping to production.
What You Will Do:

Work directly with our engineering team and a mentor to build and ship new features.

Write clean, testable, peer-reviewed code.

Own end-to-end feature development - including measuring and reporting on customer impact.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in at least one object-oriented programming language. We use Ruby for our backend, and are happy to teach it.

A product-oriented mindset with a passion for listening to and delighting customers.

Available full-time for 10-12 weeks in our office in New York City between May and August.

A kind person.
Bonus Points:

Experience with a web framework, such as Ruby on Rails, Django or Express.js.

Experience with a front-end framework such as Vue, React or Angular.

Previous experience working within a startup environment.

Pay & Benefits
The estimated annual US base salary range for this role is $6,000 - $7,000 per month. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and education stipends.
At this time, Vantage is only set up to employ in the United States.
