Pay Rate: 65.00 – 90.00/HR DOE + Potential Signing Bonus
We are looking for a key member to join our team supporting a large client, building out the back-end of web sites (e-commerce and other), leveraged to train AI. You will have experience in database design & optimization, data modeling, backend APIs (including development), performance tuning & scaling, developing cloud-native applications and APIs, AI knowledge, and security.
Great opportunity to build skills working with LLMs and AI.
Please note that this is a non-gaming opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineer APIs and Data Structures used to support Web Sites
- anage the scope, requirements and translate to the offshore team
- Lead and manage the delivery of the offshore team
- Code reviews of the offshore team
- Work collaboratively with engineers, researchers, and product managers
- Think strategically about end-to-end processes with the offshore team and how to improve them
- Contribute to the development/engineering of web sites, back-ends, APIs
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Strong collaboration skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional organization skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills (solution oriented)
- 3+ years' experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent database in production
- 3+ years' experience with Python, Java with Spring Boot (Backend API)
- Experience with Authentication and Authorization
- Experience with Database schema design and optimization
- Knowledge of data security and backups
- Expertise across the software development life cycle, including code standards, reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Excellent problem-solving skills to move fast in a dynamic environment, with a focus on code quality, testing, and performance optimization
- Exemplify the quality of having a “Proactive Approach,” attitude which includes a high level of accountability, transparency, and teamwork first and foremost
