Software Engineering Advisor- Hybrid

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Advisor which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services, Inc. 

Responsibilities-• Plan and manage information technology projects including monitoring ongoing performance of systems and developing updates and modifications that are required in accordance with business needs;• Support legacy platform built in ColdFusion and support modernization efforts when possible;• Collaborate with Information Systems and Business to evaluate user requests, clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs;• Determine feasibility of new or modified computer programs, including time requirements, compatibility with current system and system capabilities;• Oversee coding of new or modified computer programs into existing systems and test program effectiveness;• Evaluate error messages, modify codes and troubleshoot programming problems;• Provide production operation support including system setup and processing and data extraction, as well as off-hour technical support with on-call rotation;• Collaborate with project team to formulate detailed program specifications using analysis and design methodology;• Define and implement applications in a multi-platform distributed environment; and• Provide assistance to team with issues needing technical expertise, including on-the-job training for new and existing team members.• Partial work from home benefit available.Qualifications-
