Software Engineering Advisor-Hybrid

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Advisor which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services, Inc.

Requirements-

Create microservices and utilize design patterns for developing and designing a consolidated conformed enterprise data warehouse and data lake which stores critical data.

• Design, develop, and implement methods, processes, tools, and analyses to sift through large amounts of data stored in a data warehouse or data mart to find relationships and patterns.

• Participate in complete development cycle from development, session management till deployment of data on the cloud (PCF/OpenShift).

• Perform automation job for pulling of metrics data and reporting for business needs.

• Review and guide code development from other team members through code reviews.

• Monitor, debug, surveillance, performance, and scalability for non-development environments.

• Partner with Testers, understanding automated testing patterns such as unit testing, mocking and automated testing. Part-time telecommuting permitted.

Qualifications-

Requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus three years of experience in software development.

Must have experience with or knowledge of: Java, SpringBoot, Cloud (PCF/OpenShift), Mongo, Oracle, Jenkins, Session Management, OKTA, Splunk, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK), OAuth, and Mockito. 

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
