Write, deliver and test code across various codebases, infrastructure components and associated tools, including delivering and upgrading API interfaces and selecting performant algorithms and designs. Write and deliver associated unit tests to go along with new features and functionality of the component.
What You Will Do:
- Deliver corresponding upstream and internal documentation to go along with new features and functionality as has been delivered via code.
- Work with customers to help troubleshoot and resolve bugs or technical issues either with configurations or delivered bug fixes.
- Review requirements and market problems specific to their component and deliver new features or functionality to meet corresponding need and demand, and deliver new components as required to meet demand.
- Provide solutions and pipelines to enable seamless integration of Kubernetes operators onto running clusters.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
- Must have two (2) years of experience with: applying programming languages to large-scale enterprise projects; working within Agile or Scrum methodologies; implementing software testing practices, including unit testing and integration testing; troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving customer-reported issues and production defects; utilizing source code management and version control tools; and working with or contributing to open source development models and collaborative projects.

The salary range for this position is $96,440 - $154,190/year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
