As part of the continued expansion of our responsibilities and the evolution of our operating framework, we are strengthening the FAB Team with an R&D Process Engineer (Atlassian).
The FAB Team plays a key transversal role at group level, acting as a unifying function across multiple Lines of Business by defining, standardizing, and aligning processes, tools, and ways of working, with a strong focus on software delivery and governance.
Within this scope, the team drives a coherent, group-wide usage of the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management) to support traceability, operational efficiency, and consistent practices across teams with different levels of maturity.
The role contributes directly to this unification effort by evolving and harmonizing Atlassian-based processes, while leveraging automation and AI-assisted capabilities to improve adoption and delivery performance, in a predominantly English-speaking, international environment.
Responsibilities
Jira administration and expertise
- Administer and configure Jira (projects, workflows, schemas, permissions, custom fields).
- Design, implement, and maintain harmonized Jira processes across the group.
- Support and coach teams from different Lines of Business on Jira best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Jira usage (simplification, automation, consistency).
- Leverage AI-powered features (e.g. Atlassian Intelligence or equivalent tooling) to:
- Improve issue creation quality and consistency
- Assist with workflow optimization and reporting
- Enhance user support and self-service capabilities
- Understand and help evolve end-to-end software development processes, including:
- Creation and management of work items (epics, stories, tasks, bugs) in Jira
- Traceability between Jira work items and development activities (e.g. GitHub)
- Lifecycle tracking from backlog to production release
- Contribute to the definition, maintenance, and documentation of release processes.
- Promote automation and data-driven insights (including AI-based insights) to improve delivery efficiency and predictability.
- Design, implement, Administer integrations between Jira/Confluence and other systems.
- Work closely with development teams, DevOps, Release Management, and Product teams.
- Participate in workshops aimed at aligning and standardizing processes across Lines of Business.
- Produce clear documentation (process descriptions, user guides, best practices), notably using Confluence.
- Act as a functional bridge between tooling, processes, and end users.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Required Profile
Technical skills
- Solid hands-on experience with Jira (functional administration, workflows, permissions, reporting).
- Good understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Working knowledge of source code management tools, ideally GitHub.
- Familiarity with software delivery and release workflows.
- Awareness of AI-assisted tooling in software engineering, process optimization, or ITSM contexts.
- Any knowledge of JSM (Jira Service Management), Zendesk would be a beneficial
- This role includes some Confluence responsibilities and any prior knowledge and experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Knowledge of Jira integrations with CI/CD tools is a plus.

Education and Experience

- Junior to early-career profile with solid fundamentals and strong growth potential.
Languages
- English: professional level required (spoken and written) – mandatory, as the team is predominantly English-speaking.
- French: fluent or working proficiency highly desirable.
