About the Role

Software Engineer at Simpro Group, you will play a key role in building and
maintaining high-performance, scalable applications that power a global

collaborative software development practices. You will work alongside
cross-functional global teams contributing to the full software development
lifecycle while helping drive innovation and platform scalability.
Key Responsibilities
• Back-End Development
• Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end features using Symfony /
PHP
• Build scalable and high-performing solutions within Simpro’s
technology ecosystem
• Contribute to software architecture decisions and code quality
improvements
• Front-End Development
• Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using Angular and
jQuery
• Collaborate with product and design teams to enhance user experience
and usability
• Database & Performance Optimization
• Manage and optimize relational databases including Postgres and Amazon
RDS
• Write efficient queries and support application performance
improvements
• Utilize caching technologies such as ElastiCache, Redis, and Memcached
• Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
• Work within AWS cloud environments including EC2 and Load Balancers
• Participate in CI/CD processes using Jenkins and modern deployment
practices
• Collaborate on infrastructure-as-code initiatives using Terraform
• Monitoring & Application Health
• Utilize monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Datadog,
and Raygun
• Support system reliability, troubleshooting, and performance
monitoring initiatives
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle using Jira and
Confluence
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams across
global environments
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and agile development
practices

Requirements
• 3–5 years of professional experience in software development
• Strong expertise in PHP development, preferably using Symfony
Framework
• Solid experience with front-end technologies including Angular and
jQuery
• Experience working with relational databases, especially Postgres
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, Jenkins, and version control tools
such as Bitbucket
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure environments and scalable
application development
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills within
agile teams
• Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative, and innovation-driven
environments
Nice to Have
• Experience developing mobile applications using Angular with Ionic /
Capacitor for iOS and Android deployment
• Knowledge of containerization technologies and advanced AWS services
• Familiarity with external services such as Cloudflare, SendGrid, and
Twilio
• Exposure to BI and analytics platforms such as Metabase
