Job Title – Software Engineer
The Purpose of This Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer for our FBSI platform team responsible to develop real-time, event-driven data pipelines using Kafka and cloud-native technologies.
You will be building data ingestion pipelines that will involve messaging platforms such as Kafka with Java and Python based applications.

The Skills that are Key to this role
Bachelor’s degree in computer science / similar technical subject area and/or equivalent experience
2+ years of overall experience
Experience in Java.
knowledge of integrating with Kafka brokers, Writing Consumers and Producers for Kafka brokers.
Understanding of database concepts including design, schema, views, tokenization with any mainstream Database product such as Oracle etc.
Knowledge of memory first databases like singlestore, aerospike
Experience in AWS, Python for building AWS pipelines

Hands-on experience with AWS, Git
Excellent and effective communication required
Strong problem resolution skills required

The Brokerage platform, we support is used by 300+ Correspondent banks, 5000+ Investment Advisors, 12 million+ retail customers and 130+ hedge funds and can handle over 1 million trades per day amounting to 300 million shares.
