We're looking for a senior engineer who is genuinely hungry - someone who takes ownership of outcomes (not just tasks), and holds themselves to a high bar because they care, not because they're told to. You'll work directly with product managers and customers to understand hard problems, and then go build elegant, lasting solutions end-to-end.

• Lead major projects end-to-end - take full ownership of significant features and initiatives from technical design through production, coordinating across frontend, backend, and infrastructure as needed.

• Build full-stack, production-grade software - contribute across the entire stack with high craft: clean APIs, performant frontends, reliable services, and thoughtful data models.

• Collaborate deeply with Product - work closely with product managers to understand customer problems, challenge requirements constructively, and translate product goals into excellent technical outcomes.

• Design and build agentic systems - contribute to the core of what Harmony does: designing multi-step AI agents, integrating LLMs into product workflows, and pushing the frontier of what autonomous service resolution can do.

• Use AI as a force multiplier - apply AI tooling throughout your workflow: code generation, test coverage, documentation, exploration, and debugging. We expect our engineers to be significantly more productive because of how they use AI.

• Ship with operational awareness - take responsibility for what you build in production: instrument your services, monitor their behavior, and act when something's wrong.

• Stay close to customers - engage with customer feedback, support escalations, and real-world usage to ground your technical decisions in actual impact.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of leading and delivering complex projects in production B2B SaaS environments.

• Strong full-stack capabilities - you're comfortable owning frontend, backend & Ops.

• Solid experience building microservices-based architectures on Kubernetes and AWS, with an understanding of operational concerns (reliability, scalability, cost) not just functionality.

• A high ownership mentality.

• Strong collaboration skills: you communicate clearly with engineers and non-engineers alike, give and receive direct feedback well, and make the people around you better.

• Deeply self-directed and intellectually curious - you take initiative, navigate ambiguity, and learn fast without needing detailed instruction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building agentic or AI-native products - LLM integration, agent orchestration, tool use, RAG, and evals.

• Active engagement with the AI/agent space beyond work: you follow the research, experiment with new models and frameworks, and form real opinions about what's useful and what isn't.

• Experience in early-stage startups where you contributed to foundational architecture and engineering culture, not just feature development.

• Comfort with the full operational picture: you've been on-call, you've debugged production incidents, and you take observability seriously as a first-class engineering concern.
