The Role
Job Summary & Responsibilities

About the Role:

Designs and develops web based, collaborative, transactional systems using various web technologies. Research new web technologies and can incorporate those into new and existing applications. Interacts with others in IT and the business to educate them on all the available technology options to streamline processes and enable collaboration in the business.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Translates business systems designs into appropriate technical solutions. Assesses feasibility for requested systems changes and enhancements and provides estimates of the effort required to make such changes and enhancements.
  • Develops and maintains technical systems documentation, including but not limited to: entity-relationship diagrams, build diagrams, flow charts, data flow diagrams, system narratives, design specifications, and test cases
  • Focuses on building responsive mobile enabled web applications utilizing full stack JavaScript along with interfacing and supporting other backend web servers
  • Build APIs and other interfaces that can assist in integrating disparate applications.
  • Provides problem support for legacy systems in assigned area
  • Other duties as assigned

Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree, Trade or Technical School (Preferred Major: Computer and Information Technology or Computer Science with a plan of study in Software Development or Systems Integration or equivalent work experience)
  • Knowledge of mobile and web technologies a plus (html5, JavaScript frameworks and libraries (Angular/React), node.js, MongoDB, SQL Server, etc...)
  • Knowledge of Agile project management practices and DevOps, especially Azure DevOps, is a plus
  • Must have excellent attendance, strong communication skills, and can find solutions independently
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must be capable of learning new technical skills quickly
  • Be familiar with version control and basic change control practices
