Position Overview

We are in search of talented people to join our team in the development and maintenance of Epiq Discovery, a premier eDiscovery platform capable of handling complex legal matters around the globe.

Our distributed team operates across multiple countries and time zones, and we are experiencing rapid growth as we extend our product reach into new regions worldwide while investing in new AI features for our platform. We're offering both B2B option and a contract of employment - Umowa o Pracę (with KUP). The role is remote within Poland.

Job Responsibilities

• Become a part of an Agile development team that defines, builds and maintains new features for the platform
• Experiment with new cloud technologies to solve challenging eDiscovery issues
• Dissect large volumes of data to identify opportunities for performance improvement
• Collaborate with our frontend team on the next generation of the platform
• Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable backend applications using Django, FastAPI and Python
• Lead efforts in refactoring codebases, improving project standards, and adopting best practices
• Mentor other developers and contribute to architectural decisions for the team
• Drive unit and integration testing initiatives to ensure robust, reliable code
• Stay on top of the latest trends in software development, sharing insights with other team members on a regular basis
• Mentor other engineers on the team by sharing lessons learned and being readily available to assist

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Python development, including frameworks like Django and FastAPI
• Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs for relational databases
• Strong understanding of API testing (pytest, factory_boy, etc.), deployment, and maintenance
• Proficiency with Docker
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and best practices for efficient deployment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• English at a minimum B2 level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with micro-frontends architecture and its implementation.
• Full-stack development experience (e.g., React).
