POSITION OVERVIEW 

Our engineers are passionate builders who take pride in writing clean, maintainable code that drives real-world impact. Operating within Agile (Scrum/Kanban) practices and a DevOps culture, they are hands-on contributors across the full software delivery lifecycle — from design and development through testing and deployment. We are looking for a Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience who brings technical depth in .NET, SQL, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript-based front-end technologies, and who is eager to embrace a versatile role that spans development, DevOps, and QA activities. A strong interest in AI-assisted coding tools and productivity frameworks is a significant plus. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Development 

• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX designers, and fellow Engineers to translate business requirements into well-structured, actionable technical tasks. 

• Design and implement new features across the full stack — from database schema and backend APIs to React-based UI components. 

• Write clean, performant, and maintainable code in .NET (C#) and TypeScript/JavaScript, following established patterns and best practices. 

• Participate actively in agile ceremonies — sprint planning, standups, retrospectives — and deliver consistently on sprint commitments. 

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services and internal microservices. 

• Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold code quality standards. 

• Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) to enhance productivity and code quality, and share learnings with the team. 

DevOps & CI/CD 

• Take an active role in CI/CD pipeline maintenance and improvements — including build scripts, automated deployments, and pipeline health monitoring. 

• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and environment configuration using tools such as GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD platforms. 

• Champion a DevOps mindset: own your code end-to-end from development to production. 

Quality Assurance 

• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests as a natural part of the development process — not an afterthought. 

• Assist with exploratory testing, regression testing, and bug triage when sprint or release demands require QA support. 

• Contribute to test automation frameworks and help raise the team's overall test coverage and reliability. 

• Apply a quality-first mindset at every stage: requirement analysis, design, implementation, and release.

Technical Skills — Required 

• 1-2 years of professional software development experience in a full-stack or back-end focused role. 

• Solid proficiency in .NET (C#) — including .NET Core — with hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and backend services. 

• Strong SQL skills: query writing, schema design, stored procedures, indexing, and performance optimization. 

• Proficient in React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript for building modern, responsive web interfaces. 

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and common design patterns. 

• Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub: branching strategies, pull requests, and code review workflows. 

• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent). 

• Comfortable writing unit tests and familiar with testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, Jest, or similar). 

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude for development productivity. 

Technical Skills — Preferred 

• Awareness of cloud platforms — AWS or Azure experience is a plus. 

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker). 

• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment with tools like Jira or Azure Boards. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (required). 

•  1-2 years of hands-on software development experience in a professional setting. 

• Prior experience in a software product company or SaaS environment is preferred. 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS 

• This role requires a satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Public Safety Verification.
