Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our AssetWorks FleetFocus Engineering team. This role will support our core applications and contribute to building and enhancing enterprise software using Angular (TypeScript) on the front end and C#/.NET on the back end.
This position will require the use of AI development tools as part of the core development workflow. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Angular, C#/.NET, familiarity with REST APIs, and working knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle. This is an exciting opportunity to grow as an engineer on a collaborative team, work on real customer-facing features, and implement best practices for building software at enterprise scale.

Job Description:

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and database logic to support application functionality and ensure high performance across SQL Server and Oracle environments
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive developer documentation
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and consistency

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience

  • Experience developing with C# and .NET
  • Experience developing with Angular and TypeScript
  • Ability to evaluate and refine AI-generated code using testing, debugging, and code review feedback
  • Familiarity with REST APIs (building or consuming APIs, JSON, authentication)
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server and/or Oracle)
  • Experience with automated testing practices (unit, integration and end-to-end)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
