Tasks
Solution Design & Specification: You are responsible for the technical design and specification of WMS/WES/WCS solutions, acting as the primary interface between customer requirements, regional experts, and developers throughout the project lifecycle. This includes creating process flowcharts, specifications, development tasks, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Collaboration: You will take part in technical exchanges with software developers globally (EMEA, APAC, NA) to ensure technical alignment and participate in project kick-offs with customers. You also serve as the central technical liaison between the solution team and regional intralogistics experts.
Validation & Deployment: You will oversee simulation scenarios to validate logistics processes and validate the solution through critical testing phases like Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Customer Go-Live & Support: During the go-live phase, you act as the primary technical escalation point, providing hands-on support to resolve critical issues on-site. You are also responsible for delivering expert-level training and system handovers to customers.
Project Management & Improvement: You ensure project quality, time, and budget are maintained, supporting agile development and sprints. Additionally, you participate in lessons learned sessions to improve the implementation process.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience: You hold a university or bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field. You have experience in solution design or technical architecture, ideally in logistics or industrial automation.
Technical Expertise: You have strong knowledge of software architecture (frameworks, frontend, backend, cloud) and developer collaboration. You are experienced with automation technology, robotics, and software architecture.
Skills & Character: You are a strategic thinker with strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a customer-oriented mindset. You possess excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Key Proficiencies: You have basic experience with C# fullstack development, .Net, and SQL databases. Additionally, it is a bonus if you are familiar with DevOps tools (GitLab/JIRA), frontend UI/HMI, connectivity technologies (OPC-UA, REST, MQTT, JSON, XML), and WMS/ERP/control technologies (PLC, SCADA).
Mindset: You are motivated by “new technology” and WMS/WES/WCS functions. You exhibit autonomy and initiative while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
