Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer specializing in .NET technologies, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of robust software solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, scalability, and security. In this role, you'll bring a balance of technical expertise and experience in development practices, driving the success of projects through collaboration, innovative problem-solving, and adherence to best practices in software engineering.
Key Responsibilities:

Application Development:

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in C# and .NET frameworks.
• Develop web applications, services, and APIs that meet the business and technical requirements.

System Design & Architecture:

• Participate in designing and implementing software architectures, ensuring they meet scalability, performance, and maintainability needs.
• Contribute to discussions on technical design, focusing on enhancing performance and security.

Front-end Development:

• Utilize Angular for front-end development and integration with .NET Core backend services, delivering cohesive and responsive user interfaces.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth and efficient application performance and maintain UI consistency.

Collaboration & Cross-functional Support:

• Work collaboratively with QA, DevOps, and front-end engineers, participating in code reviews and pair programming.
• Engage with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine requirements and contribute to planning and estimation.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Debug and resolve complex software issues, optimizing code and implementing best practices.
• Monitor applications in production, addressing any incidents or issues as they arise.

Quality Assurance:

• Write unit tests, narrow integration tests, and integrate automated testing into development workflows.
• Ensure code adheres to company coding standards and performs effectively through optimization.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain clear, organized documentation for developed features and applications.
• Provide updates and reports on progress to team leads and stakeholders.

Key Skills:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
• Web Development: Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, RESTful services.
• Front-end Integration: Familiarity with front-end technologies and experience with Angular, as well as foundational knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Database Management: Working knowledge of SQL Server or similar relational databases, including ORM tools (e.g., Entity Framework).
• Version Control: Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience Level: 2-3 years in software development with a focus on .NET technologies.
• Frameworks: Familiarity with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and RESTful services.
• Front-end Frameworks: Practical experience with Angular for building and integrating user interfaces.
• Agile Environment: Experience working within Agile (Scrum or Kanban) teams.
• Cloud & DevOps: Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Problem-solving mindset: Ability to think critically and independently tackle technical challenges.
