JOB TITLE: Software Engineer I
LOCATION: 3200 HACKBERRY ROAD IRVING TX 75063
DUTIES: Analyze and break down requirements into test cases, maintain proper test data for execution of created test cases, create test cycles for execution, generate test evidence and reports, perform end-to-end testing of applications, provide sign-off for releases. Query databases for testing needs, organize daily responsibilities, understand applications under test. Contribute across all stages of the software development life cycle including story refinement, planning, delivery to production, and post-release validation. Use Jira and related tools to manage testing artifacts. Perform QA test automation for web and mobile applications. Utilize Selenium and Appium for automation. Suggest improvements to automation frameworks. Test APIs manually and through automation using tools such as Postman. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include the following:
· 5 years with QA Automation using Selenium Webdriver with Java, Python or C#, or Appium for Mobile Automation;
· 5 years with Continuous development tools such as Gitlab or equivalent;
· 5 years with Test Management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, or HP-ALM;
· 4 years with API Testing using Postman or other similar tools;
· 4 years with Automation Frameworks such as Cucumber or TestNg; and
· 1 year with Database queries using SQL or other query languages.
