We are looking for a skilled and driven Backend Engineer to join one of our Engineering teams, focusing on our Third Party Risk Management business. Our product enables some of the world’s most security conscious organizations to manage the cybersecurity risks of their vendor ecosystems, leveraging Bitsight’s unique data, insights, and robust workflows (questionnaires, artifact exchanges, messages, and more).

Technical Expertise:

• Familiarity with backend development and web applications. Relevant experience (up to 3 years) in a similar role or strong academic/project background.

• Familiarity with Python, or another modern backend language, and experience with building REST APIs.

• Understanding of code testing and quality practices.

• Familiar with the full development lifecycle, from planning and implementation to testing and deployment.

Bonus experience:

• Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and microservices architectures.

• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab) and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
