Who You’ll Work With:

The ACE team develops software that facilitates workflow-driven, process automation to various account- and/or security-related business functions across the front-, middle, and back-offices.  Examples of processes that ACE supports and/or automates include (not limited to): cash movements, security transfers, corporate actions, account openings/closings, asset-mix changes, guideline routing, security setup, client trade requests, and data mastering. The team partners with key business stakeholders across (the entire) Investment SBU, Client Group, Private Wealth, Private Alts, Investment Operations, Legal/Compliance, ABIS, etc.

The successful candidate will work exclusively with AB’s Private Wealth department while interfacing with other key technology teams.

What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join the ACE team in Nashville, TN.

What We’re Looking For:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field

  • 4+ years of hand-on programming experience with C# or other OOP language

  • Solid working knowledge of SQL programming (SQL Server preferred)

  • Experience working with various NLP libraries

  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and conceptualize software solutions

  • Ability to communicate and partner with business users and other development teams

  • Experience in the Securities industry, or more specifically Private Wealth Financial Services, is a plus

Specific Skills:

  • N-tier design, DDD, SOA, asynchronous processing, threading designs

  • C#, .NET 4.x+

  • T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, optimization, bcp, SSIS

  • XML, JSON, Serialization

  • WPF, WinForms, DevExpress, and MVVM pattern

  • WCF, Web Services, MSMQ

  • DevOps, Git
