Software Engineer
What you can expect
As a Software Engineer on Zoom’s Mail and Calendar team, you’ll build and scale critical backend systems that power communication experiences used globally. Responsibilities
Designing and implementing high-performance backend features in C/C++ to support our communication platform.
Building and maintaining scalable APIs that power web-based calendar and scheduling workflows.
Collaborating across engineering, product, and design teams to deliver solutions that meet evolving customer needs.
Analyzing and improve system performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks and ensuring reliability at scale.
Contributing to team practices by sharing expertise, mentoring peers, and supporting an inclusive, collaborative culture.
What we’re looking for
Have a Bachelor in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of industry experience
Have solid proficiency in C/C++, with a track record of building performant, robust applications.
Have experience developing large-scale, distributed backend systems.
Be proficient in Linux development.
Have familiarity with security best practices for backend systems.
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$87.600,00Maximum:
$186.000,00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
