As part of your role, you will:
  • Develop and maintain software for hardware capture systems used in sports and event production.
  • Build and optimize real-time processing pipelines with multiple output formats.
  • Implement software modules for hardware control and environmental management.

  • Support manufacturing and testing utilities to ensure system quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions.

You should bring with you:
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on industry experience, including at least one role involving work with hardware such as cameras, sensors, or chips.
  • High proficiency in Python, with proven ability to develop production-grade software.
  • Solid background in Linux-based systems, including professional experience with embedded Linux development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Knowledge of C++ for low-level hardware interfaces and performance-critical components.
  • Exposure to video pipelines (e.g., GStreamer), real-time systems, or IoT devices.
  • Familiarity with gRPC, REST API, Docker, Balena, or Git.
  • Hands-on work with sensors, video capture systems, embedded processors, or chips.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or system monitoring tools.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:
  • Opportunity to join the global leader in AI-powered sports broadcasting.
  • Direct involvement in production systems that integrate software with cutting-edge hardware.
  • Exposure to diverse technologies in video, embedded systems, and cloud connectivity.
  • A collaborative, impact-driven engineering team.

What We Do

Today, millions of sporting events take place annually; however, 99% are not broadcast. These events range from local youth and women’s sports to lower leagues in popular sports and even professional leagues in niche sports.

Pixellot’s automated sports production solutions revolutionize traditional video capture, production and distribution processes, enabling professional and amateur sports organizations to affordably cover and monetize their events.
Pixellot’s technology streamlines the production workflow by deploying an unmanned multi-camera system in a single fixed rig (with additional angles as required), covering the entire field and delivering a stitched panoramic image. Advanced auto-production mechanisms track the flow of play, identify highlights, create replays and insert advertisements without human intervention. Pixellot's analytics and video editing platform Vidswap allows coaches to save time by breaking down games and get detailed game, team and players stats 4 hours after the game is over.

Over 25,000 Pixellot systems have been sold to production companies, sports portals, sports federations, leagues, clubs, venues, and coaching solution providers around the world, including the US, China, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, France, UK, Japan, Singapore, Mexico, and other markets
