Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and support design & development of mortgage related applications supported within Consumer Lending Technology (Servicing).
In this role, you will:
- Support full stack development in Java/J2EE/Javascript technologies. (Node.js, Angular 12.2.10, Webservices, Springboot, REST API's)
- Interact with systems using SQL (database queries, DDL, DML), YML, XML, JSON, and KAFKA
- Migrate changes using CI/CD working with tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Gradle, and SonarQube
- Troubleshoot & debug applications/programs, perform unit testing, code reviews, code
- quality & security checks for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
- Support testing by using automation tools (Selenium) for development and execution of automated tests across application layers (UI/Service/Data)
- Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders
- Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains
- Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements
- Exercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 2+ years of proven experience in software development, with a focus on building banking related applications
- 2+ years of solid understanding of hybrid cloud technologies (Azure, Google), microservices architecture, and API integrations
- Experience with J2EE, Spring Boot, Micro Services, Angular, Junit and Open Shift (OCP)
- Experience in TDD & BDD, Junit/Test NG and Cucumber
- Experience in designing, developing, maintaining reusable and scalable Automation Test frameworks (Java Selenium, POM, TestNG, or QMetry)
- Familiar with Static code analysis, Code coverage analysis, Cross-browser testing, API
- testing and Test Data Management. Adhere to best practices/coding standards
- Experience in Agile/Scrum SDLC & tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Experience working in offshore-onshore model and collaborating with all stakeholders
- Experience using GitHub Co-Pilot and other AI related tools
- Experience working with components in Java Script, SOAP, MQ Series, Kafka, ECLIPSE, and Tomcat
- Good understanding of Design Patterns and Best Practices
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a track record of delivering projects on time.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated detail oriented, independent, logical thinker, problem solver, team player along with excellent communication, reporting and analytical skills
