Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer for the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group in Urbandale, IA, on the License Management team, you will:
  • Work with a team of passionate software engineers committed to design, develop, test and integrate features on License Management platform
  • Engage in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives and hackathons to deliver solutions efficiently and autonomously
  • Collaborate with other teams to help drive alignment and understanding of requirements and dependencies
  • Establish a culture of software crafting best practices including Code Reviews, Test Automation, CI/CD

What Skills You Need
  • Experience with building UI and REST APIs using Java, JavaScript, React.js, or Node.js
  • Experience with TDD, Refactoring, Pair Programming, CI/CD
  • Experience working on a team developing software leveraging Agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience with Dev Ops tools and technologies like GitHub Actions, Datadog
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science or Technology related discipline or equivalent related work experience
