The Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain functional web-based/cloud services and applications. The Software Engineer's responsibilities include designing and developing technical solutions, collaborating with a scrum team to groom and implement user and system requirements for new services and applications, and communicate and demonstrate accomplishments to internal staff. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience building web-based services from scratch or from existing solutions and in-depth knowledge of both of the following programming languages: C#, SQL, JavaScript and VUE JS.
Ultimately, you will ensure our services are operating optimally and cover both internal and customer needs.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate must be effective at prioritizing workload, balancing demands from multiple projects and ongoing prioritization of goals and objectives, as well as skilled at problem solving and expectation management. The candidate will be capable of guiding client teams through process evaluations and product requirement discussions. The candidate will be experienced in documentation, training, communicating, and assisting customer and internal teams with communications and processes.
What You Bring
- 5+ years as a professional developer
- Expertise in C#, SQL and JavaScript, VUE JS
- Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Solid knowledge of Visual Studio and DevOps
- Understanding of security practices
- Experience with the Agile process
- Assisting with gathering user and system requirements for new software applications
