Software Engineer

Software Engineer is a key member of an agile team responsible for creating great products for our customers on the web. As a full stack engineer, you will be primarily responsible for the development, testing, quality and performance of a web application - both as an individual contributor as well as reviewing the work of other engineers on the team.

Key Responsibilities​

• Partner closely with Product Owner and tech lead to discover, design, develop and deploy  great financial tools and products that provide meaningful value to our customers
• Develop, Unit tests and deploy components.
• Integrate UI application with rest APIs.
• Primary technologies focused on modern front-end - Advanced JS & ES6, React, Redux and other modern JS frameworks, HTML/CSS, Content Management Systems - such as Bloomreach.
• Support production incidents.
• Support and maintain various environment’s health.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience. 
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience required.
• 5-7+ years of practical experience and proven success with the design, development and operation of complex web applications.
• 5+ years of practical experience and proven success with the design and build of complex software applications.
• Demonstrated experience coding and/or designing in multiple environments.
• Working knowledge of diverse front-end related technologies and new and current architectures such as:- Redux, React, React hooks; Webpack, Gulp; React testing library, Mocha, Chai, Jest
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Typescript, Cypress.
• Node JS, Express Server.
• Understanding on AWS cloud services(Kubernetes, S3, Load Balancer).
• CI/CD build process familiarity and automation (Jenkins, Docker).
• CMS - Bloomreach.

The estimated base salary for this role is $112,200 / $151,500 year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
