Software Engineer

Responsibilities:  

• Build and maintain Zoom's whiteboard product;
• Work with cross functional teams, such as product managers, designers, backend developers to understand requirements and deliver end to end solutions;
• Ensure the UI works seamlessly across different devices and platforms;
• Ensure fast loading times and smooth interactions by optimizing the code;
• Ensure software stability by conducting quality assurance and user testing to identify and address any bugs; and
• Document code and process to improve collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

What we're looking for: 

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent;
• Must have 4 years of experience in job offered or related occupation;
• Must have 4 years of experience in Software Engineering;
• Must have 4 years of experience in Web performance optimization Techniques;
• Must have 4 years of experience in Modern web technologies including Javascript, Typescript, React, Vue;
• Must have 4 years of experience in Canvas, SVG and other visualization tools; and
• Must have 4 years of experience in Browser testing and debugging tools.
• Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Position does not require domestic or international travel.

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
