Focus of the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you excel at understanding and translating customer needs into innovative products and capabilities. You leverage your deep technical expertise and experience in software application layer solutions to develop and deliver scalable design blueprints throughout the entire software development life cycle. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will utilize your extensive experience and technical knowledge in the Software Engineering domain to:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Cloud (IICS) to support enterprise data integration needs.
- Lead the architecture and design of data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and other Informatica suite tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand requirements and translate them into scalable ETL solutions.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources including flat files, databases, and cloud platform.
- Optimize ETL processes for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Perform unit testing and ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and support production workflows as required.
- Document technical specifications and maintain code version control.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and actively participate in sprint planning and reviews.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple projects and guide development teams on best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and analysts to design robust and future-ready data solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and propose improvements to the current data integration landscape.
- Ensure high availability and performance of Informatica environments; work closely with infrastructure and platform teams.
- Design and implement data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
