Detecting attackers in real-time requires a high-performance suite of software that enables machine learning and statistical techniques. We’re seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a Dublin based full stack team that develops and maintains user workflows on our flagship product. This presents a unique opportunity to grow with the team and your responsibilities and help shape the processes and practices of the team, as well as the technical architecture and delivery. Our team works in a hybrid set-up from the Dublin office.
At a Glance- Translate product requirements and concepts into software designs and implementation taking scalability, performance, operational effort and cost into consideration
- Contribute in a meaningful way to Frontend and Backend applications on our flagship product.
- Develop data pipelines for both research and production purposes, using a variety of distributed systems and databases
- Work with other groups including Product Management, UX, Security Research and Data Science to help customers identify, respond to, and prevent cyber threats
- Relevant working experience in full stack software development
- Strong proficiency with a modern JavaScript framework such as React, Vue, Angular etc.. (we use Ember JS here)
- Experience with backend development using Python and Django (or a similar web framework)
- Experience working on complex, production-grade web applications
- Knowledge of software design principles and leading software development practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to get things done, take initiative and challenge existing assumptions and conventions
- Familiarity working with Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
- B.S or M.S or Ph.D. in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in automated testing in addition to continuous integration and deployment tools
- Understanding of data pipeline architectures
- Database hands-on experience (MySQL, MongoDB, couchdb, ElasticSearch, etc.)
- Knowledge of networking and networking protocols
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity
- Knowledge of source code management tools; e.g. Git
